Evan's First Day Of Kindergarten

We have been counting down the days, and today the big day was finally here. You woke up so excited, got dressed, ate all your breakfast, and helped pack your lunch. We talked about how you were feeling. Mommy talked about what feeling nervous is like, and you told me you were mostly excited and only a little nervous. You already knew your teacher (which really helped), you knew about 80 percent of the kids in your class (which helped even more), and we toured our most fabulous, beautiful new school last week. All that being said transition into Kindergarten couldn't have been better!

You in front of our house.

You in front of your school. You are ready to go in for an awesome first day.

Mommy, Daddy, and You before your first day of Kindergarten. We are so proud of you!

Big boys with some pretty big backpacks.

You and Brock checking out the class lists.

Our pals Alyssa, Makenna, and Riley looking so cute on their first day of school.

You and your pal Brock

You in front of your classroom

You did a great job finding your name tag and listening to directions. You got right to work.

Still working and wondering why Mom and Dad were still there taking pictures of you.

You and your friend Allison after your first and very successful day of Kindergarten.

You and your most fabulous Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Passmore.

I am ecstatic to see how much confidence you have gained, how excited you are about school, and am so incredibly proud of you. Mommy and Daddy love you so much and pray that your school experience will be nothing short of spectacular.

So it is with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes that we turn this corner and move into a new and very exciting stage of life. You beat all the odds my miracle boy, and you continue to awe me.
