Calum's Big Day

For months whenever we have mentioned preschool you have been saying I am starting school in January, and so since January came...your time was finally here. You were incredibly excited and beamed from ear to ear at the mention of your first day. It really could not have been an easier transition. You were used to the school and knew all the teachers, had played on the playground, and even knew the routine. Big brother went here for two years and you had been coming since you cbegan to walk and talk. You recognized and even knew many of the kids in your class. You had an excellent first day.

A very proud preschooler arriving for his first day.
After Mommy took this picture you said, "Mommy did I smile"?

Another cute pic of you inside your new school.

Is that cow looking at me?

You stopped for a quick pic on the playground.

You quickly found your carpet circle, and you were ready for the "Good Morning" song.

That night at the dinner table the conversation was all about you. You told us everything about your first day. Mommy, Daddy, and Evan were very impressed. You sure did remember many details, especially for a 3 1/2 year old. You told us about the sleeping bear craft you did, what the letter of the day was, all the things you had for snack, who you played with, and the songs you sang. That night during bath time you would not let Mommy was your right hand since it had a "special stamp" on it that you got for going potty at school.

Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you. You are proud of you too, as you should be. You are a wonderful almost four year old who is growing up so fast. You are so happy go lucky and your smile brightens each of my days.

I love you Mazoo!
