Tricky Strikes Again

At School and around town people were talking about what kinds of Leprechaun traps they were creating with high hopes that this would be the time that they would catch one or maybe even a few of these tricky leprechauns. So Evan and Calum wanted in on the action and started working hard creating their own traps. They also both wrote their own letters to the Leprachans.

Evan did a great job writing his letter on his own.

Calum also wrote a letter to the Leprechauns. His reads;

Dear Leprechaun, You are a tricky guy. Come in and see your box of marshmellows and golden coins. Love, Calum

A four leaf clover Calum had made earlier in the week that he used to entice Tricky the leprechaun.

Tricky and his crew did show up sometime in the night and made quite a mess. Unfortunately we were not able to catch them this time. They took some of the coins, many of the marshmallows, and they even chewed some of the gum and left it inside the traps.

They knocked over the stool in the bathroom,

Put the flowers in the sink, And messed up some of the toys in the playroom. They did however leave some clues behind so that the boys could continue the fun and go on a scavenger hunt to find their special treats. Tricky and his crew sent Evan and Calum up and down stairs, in the closets, bookshelves, and even in the bathroom until eventually their treats were found inside the oven. Inside each cup was a note from Tricky and some pots of gold (rolos) and green licorice. Yummy!
