Today Evan and Daddy enjoyed a day of fishing together. Each year in our community they have a Kids Fishing Day. So Daddy and Evan headed off for a day of fishing at the lake in our community. The lake was apparently stocked with 300 pounds of fish, none of which were caught by my boys. Although it would have been more exciting if Evan had caught something, he still had a fabulous time. Daddy said they had fun talking, eating hot dogs and drinking soda, and just being together. Evan also told me that he learned how to "cast a line".

What a fun tradition they've started!
How fun!It looks like they had a great day together!! I am excited for Carter to be old enough to do it.
oh, how fun. i remember fishing with my dad + while i rarely caught anything (except the one time when he made me throw it back when i wanted to take it home as a pet) it was the time together i remember now.
What fun memories for Evan and Geoff. Aaron can't wait to take Owen fishing.
