This has been year number #2 of our garden experience. This year Mommy let you both pick out some fruits and veggies to plant, and then you helped with the digging, planting, watering, picking, and then the best part
EATING!
We grew tomatoes, strawberries, squash, peppers, green beans, and zucchini. Our peppers, strawberries, and zucchini didn't do so well but we enjoyed all the others. The green beans never made it to the dinner table since Evan would pick them and eat the right away.
We have tomatoes coming out of our ears, which are really yummy. This would be more exciting if you boys liked tomatoes, but you don't. Mommy and Daddy have been enjoying lots of them though.
By far the most exciting part of our garden this year was watching our one watermelon grow and grow, picking it, and then eating it. Since we have never grown a watermelon we had no idea what we were doing but we were so pleasantly surprised when Daddy cut it open and it was soooo yummy!
Maybe next year we will skip the squash, peppers, and zucchini..and just have a watermelon garden:)

Your little garden is amazing! If you are overflowing with tomatoes, I know three extra little helpers who would love to come help you pick :)
So impressive! Every year I say I'm at least going to grow tomatoes (but never do!). Brandi
if we lived closer, we could trade...we had tons and tons of zucchini and peppers and that watermelon looks so good!
