When we got home from the bike shop with his new ride we rode all the way around our block, which is really like riding around six blocks. He just bolted right down the street without hesitation.
Every few minutes he would stop because he wanted to get off to "take a break", when really what he was doing was taking time to take in the moment.
Evan 's bike riding break looked something like this;
He would get off of his shiny new bike,
step back, look at it, look off into the distance,
and then get back on,
only to take another break to repeat the whole routine in about three minutes time.
Another one of the many things I love about you Evan.
You teach me to stop and take a break,
To take time to soak in the moment.
Enjoy the now!

What a great bike...and so sweet that he stopped to soak it all in. He'll be down to 2 wheels in no time.
