Here are a couple of pictures to show what "blankie" looked like in the very early days. Evan loves to look at these pictures, and is always the first to discover "blankie". I have a strong feeling that Evan may be the kid in Kindergarten that has a piece of "blankie" in his pocket to make him feel more secure. I must say that Evan having the security of his blanket has made sleeping easier, and has provided comfort when Mommy and Daddy weren't there.
Here is Evan in the NICU in his fancy reflux bed. This was taken during the last week before he came home from the hospital.

Wow, Blankie has seen better days! It's no wonder why it is such a comfort though! His pal through thick and thin! (now blankie is getting thin LOL). Brandi
Sweet!!!! I had one with a blankie fetish too....she turns forty soon. But I remember!!!
Happy Wordful Wednesday. My entry today is one part cats, and other goodie tidbits from an alphabet challenge. Won't you stop by and say hi?
I can see what Grammie will be busy doing next time she visits. I love that you have pics of Evan with his blankie from the beginning. The girls totally swapped blankies....their faves are not what we gave them in the beginning.
I think blankie has made as big a transformation as Evan has! I LOVE that she still loves his blankie, yet isn't so dependant on it anymore!
oh my - have you tried to find a new one?
They never, ever look remotely the same, do they? They just literally get loved to pieces.
Have you read the book Owen? It's about a boy and his blankie. Great pictures of Evan and his blankie.
blankie looks well loved indeed :)
on of my son's is a blankie carrier. I fear that someday, it will look just like your son's
Awww poor blankie ( and Evan! ) For some reason my boys did not have that one thing. Just now Andrew, is getting attached to this cat I had. It's his Kitty and these days she seems to be tagging along with us more and more. And the questions I always hear is "where's kitty"?
Luke is still young, but he is more cuddly than Andrew so I am just waiting for him to find his one thing.
I do hope you guys find a cure for Blankie!
