Come Meet Us At The Zoo

Each year Evan's preschool has an end of the year play titled "Come Meet us at the Zoo" where each child dresses up as one of the Zoo phonic animals and says the line that goes with their animal. This year Evan was Kayo Kangaroo. He did an amazing job! Mommy, Daddy, Calum, Grandma, and Papa were all VERY VERY proud of you.

Evan chose to be a kangaroo which is pretty funny since Daddy always says that if you could be any animal you would be a baby kangaroo so that you could be in mama's pouch all the time:).

Although you cannot tell from the picture IT WAS RAINING!! With only a 30 percent chance of rain and nearly 100 degree temperatures last year during the play, we were all crossing our fingers that the rain would hold off. It began raining at the start of the performance and did not let up until the minute the performance was over. I was so impressed that all the kids did such a wonderful job singing and saying their lines, and not one child complained about standing in the rain. You stood on stage sang all the songs with the motions and flashed some pretty big smiles at the crowd! Awesome..Evan!!

Here stands a confident Evan getting ready to say his line in the microphone.

You did not want to practice your line at home and when Mommy would try you told me "Mommy I already know it". You sure did!

Kayo Kangaroo gives a Kick, as he jumps upon his pogo stick. k..k...k..for the letter K!

Ironic that you were singing "May there always be Sunshine".

As your final year of preschool comes to an end a happy but emotional Mama knows you are ready for bigger adventures and we couldn't be more proud of the kind, gentle, and caring boy you are. You have made some good friends with whom you will go on to elementary school with next year! With the end of each chapter comes the beginning of another!

I Love you Evan!
