Since music, dancing, and "putting on concerts" is your thing I signed you up for not one, but two different Vacation Bible School weeks. You just completed a week of Kidz Camp at our church titled High Seas Expedition, and you LOVED it! We got a c.d. with all the songs the day before camp started and it has been blaring throughout our house ever since. You learned all the motions and have taught them to Calum too. There were 400 kids in attendance, and being in the auditorium watching that many children praise the Lord was absolutely AMAZING. You sang songs, learned bible stories, did crafts which included making a blanket for a child in Haiti, and had a yummy snack each night that went with the bible story theme.
Most importantly you continued to learn about God's amazing love for you. There is NOTHING more important in your life than your relationship with Christ. I love watching you grow spiritually, answering your sometimes tough questions about who God is, and encouraging your LOVE for worship. Here is a sample of what you learned, and what you have been doing around here lately.
You loved your two crew leaders Isabel and Teryn. Looks like we have a new babysitter too:). They commented on how sweet you are, and how much you love to dance. I love that you were so comfortable there and were truly yourself. You went into this VBS not knowing anyone, and you were totally okay with that. You did see a few kids from Sunday school but they were not in your group. Your confidence was awesome. This was something all for you, and you loved every minute of it. You even brought your pal Brock on bring a friend Wednesday, which was extra special for both of you.
VBS number two will be in a month and is held in our community. It is an entirely different theme. Mommy will be working there, and brother will get to come too.
