You tell me Mommy I am not a baby, I am a big boy! Yes you are I reply BUT you will Always be my baby!!
Last week you moved from the nursery at church to the preschool class. You loved it and learned so much in just over an hour. You were so excited to tell Mommy and Daddy about how you learned how to pray. You made a prayer chain and listed all the things you pray for. Your list included Mommy and Daddy, Evan, toys, grandma and papa, Papa Tony and Grammie, and school (you call Sunday school your school).
You and Brother are in this silly habit of calling everyone Bobby Jo. You recently informed me that your little blue doggie's name is Bobby Jo.
Your favorite things right now include but are not limited to hot dogs, quesadillas, ice cream cones, and your bike. You ride your bike every day and you no longer need any help. You even rode around the lake with Daddy and Evan today, and you made it around our huge block with Mommy.
You love to make other people laugh and are very sensitive, kind, and gentle. The other day you accidentally smashed your brother's finger while playing with a mailbox toy. Evan cried since it REALLY hurt. You felt sooo bad that you joined in...and sobbed and sobbed!!! You remind me of ME! I have never seen you hurt anyone intentionally or even take something away from someone (except your brother of course). People call you an"Old Soul"..so kind..so gentle!
You do not require as much sleep as we think you do. You do not nap, and have not in quite awhile. When you get tired and cranky your statement is "I want Something"? You never tell us what that something is, but it's our cue that Mr. Grumpy has arrived on the scene, and he needs his bed ASAP. You often chant this with a groan in the car when you are exhausted.
You love gum and have learned to chew it until it loses it's taste and then spit it in the garbage. The other day you had to take your gum to the park while Mommy's friend watched you. It was reported that you were sharing your gum with others and telling them "If I give you one piece, I will have three left"..and so on. Daddy and I are hopeful that your math skills will be better than ours, if not we will be hiring a tutor for you;).
