So since Evan was a binki boy (until the garbage man came and took it away at 2 1/2), and is still a blankie boy, I figured that's how Calum would be. He refused the binki (that is unless we are next door at Casey's then he wants to try out all the girl's binkies). Anyway, I have been trying to find the best blankie for Calum. I have tried different textures, thick, thin, fleece, cotton, you name it. I place one in his bed each nap and bed time along with his special dog Grammie bought him. Some may think that having a transitional object as Daddy calls it (Psych. major) isn't always the best thing, however I think if it helps soothe them and get them to sleep "go for it". So the consensus is I do think Calum will be a blankie boy, and we have found "the blankie". Lately if the blankie is out of his crib he will smile, crawl towards it, and dive right in. So adorable! Here is a pic of him in action. Of all blankies, he has chosen an old fleece one of Evan's.
Here is one of many pics of Evan with his blankie. If he could have it his way Blankie would go with him everywhere. We try to limit it to home, and sometimes the car. This is one of my fav's, and really how he sleeps most nights.
