A Great Weekend

We had a great weekend! We had so much fun at the Easter Egg Hunt held in our community. My close friends Ly and Casey and their kids all came over. I am so happy that all of our kids get to grow up together, and will hopefully be as great of friends as we are. Between the three of us we have eight kids.

Easter morning Evan and I went to church, and Daddy stayed home with Calum because Calum wasn't feeling too well. After church we went to my Dad's house for Easter dinner and to see the family. It was so nice to have everyone together, and I know it really lifted Dad's spirits to know that we were all their to support him in all that he's been through, and what is to come. We have all gained new perspective because of what happened to him. When you come that close to losing someone you love, everything stops, and perspective of all that is REALLY important takes place. He is home, and has some appointments this week. In the meantime he is taking his medication, and taking it easy. We had a great day.
