Ahh my sweet Evan is home. He went to stay with his grandma and Papa for 5 whole days. It was extremely quiet around here. Evan had an asthma attack while at Grandmas house (an 8 hour drive away), and just about sent me and my mom over the edge. My poor mother. I was frantically giving instructions, and calling every ten minutes. She took him to their nearest ER which was of no help. So we met half way, and he is home now. Evan's wonderful Pumonologist took my call while Evan was with my mom and directed us as to what to do next. Grandma took great care of him, Thanks Mom. Unfortunately we just don't know why and when these episodes will occur. We were back at the Pulmonologists office this morning and Evan will continue Prednisolone (which my mom started him on during the onset), his usual inhalers, and a daily allergy medication (Singulair). He is doing much better today, and is on the road to recovery. His Pulmonologist also wants to test him for Cystic Fibrosis since Geoff has a mild form of CF. Evan will have a sweat test in two weeks. I do not think he has CF, but still think it's good to rule it out because of the family history.
Anyway, it's nice to have our family all back together. Evan and Calum were so cute when they saw each other this morning. Hugs, smiles, and giggles...Love that! I love my babies soo much, and love when they show each other they care. Here are a few of the pics of the brothers that were taken over the past couple of months. I haven't had much luck getting both boys to look at the same time, they are just too busy....
Hugs!!!

A wagon ride to the park!

Ready..Set...and Drink.....I took this today while we had a picnic outside!

I can so relate to this post. My twins both have asthma and are getting ready to do the sweat test as well. Here's to good respiration days and the miracle of pulmacort! Please keep us posted on how everything goes!
eeekkkkk- certainly praying tht there is no CF and yes I agree U want to rule that one out! Praying also for easier breathing- I have a nephew who was a 24.4 weeker and PTL no real breathing probs. (only has has a hard time when hes sick). Not sure if your Evan is from his preemie days or not:) My 2 smallest have probs. the youngest had RSV at 6mo. and Maddy 5 just seems to get into trouble with lots of activity. No family history other than that and Asthma scare the U know what out of me! Hers to better days and way to go grandma for taking such great care of your sweetie:)
Blessings,
Melissa
I love the last picture...nobody is looking at mommy! I know you are SO relieved to have your boy home safe and sound.

I also some time let my kids stay with their grand parents. house would be so quite for a while, and that made me feel that the noise they make (that usually bothering) become so precious...
