After a week of what felt like non-stop rain we finally had a beautiful day. We took full advantage of it and spent the day at the park with some of our friends. The boys were happy to soak up the sun and play in lots of mud and puddles, and Mommy was happy to have some much needed Mommy conversation.

I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful place where my boys can learn about, explore, and see nature all around us. Yesterday morning we heard an owl in our backyard in the tree. How amazing is that!!!

An owl? That is awesome! Not every day you see one.
It's wonderful they got to get out and play, we are headed for another 5 day's of rain ( so they say ). Might be a good idea to get a hour or so at the park tomorrow.
