This weekend my Mom and I met up with my Aunt Karen and Cousin Vashie. We hadn't seen them in 15 years, and recently found each other on Facebook. We both drove to a central meeting place, got a hotel, and spent the whole day and night eating, looking through pictures, and talking..and talking some more. After all we did have fifteen years worth to catch up on.
My Aunt and Cousin were a huge part of my childhood, and then they moved to Los Angelas when I was eleven. We have so many awesome memories together, and my cousin and I are the same age and were always best friends more than cousins. Our lives always seemed to parallel each other, even when we lived far away. We did visit them a few times over the years, but in the busyness of life we lost touch.
We all vowed that this would not happen again. Mom and I had a great time, and will hopefully see you again soon. I am so glad we found each other again and I love you both dearly. Thank you for the positive influences you both have had on my life.

It was one of the best days of my life to see Sissy and Jessica again. My life was changed the day they came into it and part of me has been missing for all this time. It seemed just a blink away when we saw each other, not 15 years. We have so much to make up and I can't wait for the babies to meet each other! And I need to see Scottie too. We all have had some bad times but isn't life wonderful to us? I love you Jessica!
