This past week BF Casey and I took the kids to a local pool to beat the 110 degree heat. The kids had a blast, and we ended up staying for nearly five hours. It was a great way to spend the day, and was likely the first of many more pool days to come.
Lissy Bear and Evan have a special bond that is precious to watch as they grow. Evan never has a problem posing for a pic when it's with his pal Lissy.
Lissy and Evan have many similarities in their personalities. They just seem to "get one another". Usually when they first see each other they smile, and then hug. It is so sweet! The other day as I was counting kids in the back yard (the girls next door and my boys), and I realized two were missing. I walked to the front of the house to find these two sitting in the driveway talking. I wonder what they were talking about? Of course it got really quiet when Mommy arrived!
Evan may not have been a big fan of swim lessons this summer, but there is no doubt that he loves being in the water.
