Wintertime Outing and Bowling

For Christmas Grandma bought us our very own wii which we are all enjoying. One of our favorite wii games is bowling, and the boys are getting pretty good at it. Since it has been rainy and stormy we thought we would take a trip to a real bowling ally. I remember going to bowling ally's with my mom as a kid and loving it. The pizza, the soda, the video games, and bowling. What could be better?

We found an awesome bowling ally about an hour away (which is pretty much standard for where we live). They had tons of lanes, a restaurant with decent food, an arcade, and laser tag. We had a great time. It was the boys first time bowling (other than on our wii), and they had a blast trying to launch a heavy ball all the way down the lane! Thank God for bumpers!

Calum was especially excited about the "silly shoes" he got to wear.

Since we were bowling right in the middle of nap time Calum was a little on the sleepy side. Each time he would watch his ball slowly travel down the lane he would his head on Daddy's shoulder. How sweet!

Evan did awesome for his first time. Here he is contemplating his next move.

I had to teach him how to roll it Granny style...and then it was ON!!

Time to mix it up a little..a backwards granny roll works just as well!
