Oh The Love

There was a time (just a couple of months ago) when I was so upset thinking that Evan was never going to be nice to Calum. Calum has adored his big brother since day one, and Evan would hardly give him the time of day. Well we have turned a corner, Thank God! Evan has been so sweet with Calum. He wants his little brother around to play with him, follow him, eat with him, etc. As a mother, nothing makes me happier. Here are some clips of the boys.

Evan is definitely a little charmer, always has been, and extremely sensitive. Lately he will tell me out of the blue, "I love you Mommy". This of course melts me every time he says it. It is so interesting because he is learning what it means to love someone, and beginning to express his emotions. I find it fascinating and adorable. The other night he awoke at 1 a.m. with growing pains in his legs. I have heard of these, which is the only reason I knew what they were. He was screaming in pain, and kicking his legs everywhere. I put him in a warm bath, he calmed down, and then said "I love you Mommy". I guess I did the right thing. This was one of those moments when I thought "This is the most rewarding job ever".
