You are going through this stage where you like everything in two's. We went to get your hair cut this week, and you threw your first major, long lasting, no distracting you, inconsolable fit. And all because you did not get two lollipops...just one..leaving your poor other hand empty.
Huge crocodile tears...
Ear piercing screaming in between the genuine tears for 30 minutes..or more...
Should I have made the lady give you two??
Should I have gone to the nearest store to buy you a lollipop for your other hand?
The sticker the lady tried to substitute for lollipop #2 that you so badly wanted just didn't cut it.

stick with one - he'll get over it! they test the boundaries so you can remind them they are there. what a cutie tho - tears and all!
Oh my, is that what I have to look forward to!
I would have been tempted to give him two just because he is so darn cute, but you made the right move!
depending on how my day was - I might have given him two - he is so darn cute- those crocodile tears might have swayed me!
Such a handsome little guy! Depending on how easy access to another lollipop was, I may have given him two. LOL! He'll grow out of it. It's just a phase and I think all kids go through something like that.
Have a great weekend!
I agree with everyone, you did the right mommy thing, but OH I would have struggled to not give in!!! I am a pretty big pushover and my kids are fully aware of that flaw...
Casey is right. He IS dang cute!
i have this exact same issue. i must eat everything in two's!!
i don't blame him. two lollipops are better than one :)

LMAO...we just went thru this for the first time this week as well!
Nice PhotoStory Friday!!

I would have been tempted also to give him 2, but you did make the right decision. He looks so sweet.
You did good. The screaming would have only subsided THIS time and would have returned next time that he only got one...
OOOOOOHHHHMMMMM...
That's some meditation music for you.
You did the right thing, but oh it's tough sometimes, isn't it?
I agree with not giving two, it may be a tough lesson, but tantrums don't get you anywhere. Very cute haircut though! Brandi
oh -poor little chap!
Aww ah yes those hard lessons of life. Poor guy.
Oh I love that picture...especially because I was just in your shoes with a gigantic tantrum last week!
