Last week we went to a fabulous kids art studio with our friends Allison and Kate . They have lots of painting and crafts, clay, moon sand, dress up, puppets, musical instruments, pretend cooking, and a great outdoor play area for a picnic and more playing in sand, rocks, water, and a chalk wall. I was really impressed with all the activities, and so were the boys. It is seriously paradise for young children.
Evan and Calum are hard at work. Look at the intense concentration on their faces.
Who knew Calum knew how to use scissors properly? I was so surprised. Needless to say he sat and cut pipe cleaner into many small pieces.
Evan working on his masterpiece.
The Bressington Boy Band in action. They are standing/sitting on a mini stage, and there is a curtain in front of them (which was open at that moment). Evan loved introducing Calum and then opening the curtain. He would start with something like;
" Now...... Introducing.... Ca lum Bressington".
Calum dressing up like a fire man!
In the outdoor play area they had three babies in bath tubs with little sponges. Calum spent at least thirty minutes washing the babies. It was so cute to watch him talk to them, wash them, and carry them around. Here Calum is washing the baby's bum bum. He was seriously cracking me up. It was a little telling to how thorough Mommy is during bath time. Nothing like seeing yourself through the eyes of your child.
Calum and Kate enjoying the moon sand box. I am still in awe of how long they played here.
