A Big Surprise and Our First Snow Day

When Daddy and I were checking the forecast for the week we were very surprised to hear that we could possibly start our week with some snow. This is the first time it has snowed here in approximately 30 plus years. As Daddy was leaving for work it started snowing "wet snow" so he came home to tell us. Calum and Mommy were already awake but we had to wake up Evan since this was a once in a lifetime event. We all bundled up with our jammies underneath and headed outside. Evan , you are always asking Mommy why it never snows here. Now I can say...It Does:).

Mommy and Evan in our front yard.

Daddy..The one who has taught us all we know about how to catch snowflakes with your tongue.

Daddy:)..Thanks for going to work late to play in the snow with us!

Daddy and Evan on our street.

Calum and Mommy catching snowflakes..Don't we look hilarious??

Evan in our back yard. The snow did stick to the ground for about an hour or so.

Evan was able to find enough snow on the picnic table to make a snow ball. Guess who he threw it at?

Daddy and Calum even found some icicles to suck on.

Evan is so excited!

What an exciting day! Usually we have to drive at least an hour to see snow, but not today.
