The Zoo

On Thursday we went to the zoo for a field trip with Evan's preschool. We had a blast! Two days before our "zoo trip" we started singin....

We're going to the zoo..zoo..zoo.
How about you..you..you..
You can come too..too.too
We're goin to the zoo..zoo..zoo.. (Raffi..I think)

Evan loved seeing all the animals, and playing with his friends. We have taken him to the zoo before but it seems as though he is at the perfect age now. He was really interested in the animals, but was not happy that the lion with all the fur around his head did not want to come out. We waited for awhile, but we only saw the female lion. Oh well, maybe next time. Calum enjoyed the animals too, and was pointing and making noises all day. It cracks me up how he is in this stage of non-stop pointing at everything. The stage of interest..a whole new world of sights and sounds to discover.

Evan loved touching this 81 year old tortoise.
Calum the climber trying to make his way up the slide.

Evan and the giraffes!
The orangutan just hangin out!
