Over the weekend I went to Lake Tahoe with my pals Casey and Ly for some much needed R&R. We had such a great time! We talked, ate (a lot), went to a movie, had chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate dipped ice cream cones, and chocolate dipped oreos..did I mention I like chocolate? We went for a walk down to the lake, sat in the sand, and just hung out.
I am so very fortunate to have Casey and Ly as my friends, they are truly a blessing in my life. I can relax and totally be myself around them, and they love me anyway. Casey and I have been best friends since 7th grade, and Ly joined us our freshman year in high school. We are all very close, and talk pretty much everyday. Thanks girls for a much needed weekend away. It's funny that even though we always talk and see each other, we rarely get the time to finish our thoughts uninterrupted because between the three of us we have eight whom are with us most of the time. Throughout our trip we kept saying..Why don't we do this more often? Hopefully this is the start of a new tradition.

It's nice you can get away and do things like this. My friends and I keep "saying" we are going to go away for a weekend but it has yet to happen. With all the ballgames, jobs, kids, and goings on it never seems to happen. I LOL remembering the three of you as kids and it actually makes ME feel old.
Fun times sista! Both of you mean so much to me. We definitely need to do this more often...although I doubt you can get either of us into a kayak! Where is the next place we are going to eat our way through???
