Sunday Randoms and My Boys

This month Evan completed two weeks of swim lessons, and by the end he was going with the teacher without crying, and would dip his face in the water to make bubbles. Here he is with his buddy Ryan warming up for their lesson. I am so proud of you Evan!

Here is Lissie (one of the girls next door) and Evan. Lissie is so caring and always likes to be near Evan. The two of them have many similarities in their personalities. Can't you just see the adoration in her eyes. He of course loves the attention. What guy wouldn't?

Evan has been spending lots of time with grandma, and nothing makes him happier. The two of them have a special bond that is evident to anyone around them.

Two peas in a pod. Each day I realize that Evan is Daddy's clone. They not only look alike, but are similar in pretty much every single way. Here they are just hangin' out eating chips, and watching a movie. Geoff is really great at spending quality time with the boys, one of the many reasons I love him so.

Little Mister Calum is becoming more and more independent each day and will no longer let anyone help him eat. Since these yogurt squeezers are his favorite I stand close by and continuously cut the top off every five slurps, and then quickly return it to his sticky hands so he can do it himself. This makes him REALLY happy (as you can see). Every meal ends in a mess, but I figure it's only a phase..well hopefully!

Calum has perfected his walking this past month, and is getting pretty close to running. He still loves to be outside, and is very busy discovering everything there is in our great big world. He always gets really excited when he sees any kind of animal, especially dogs. He will immediately sign and say "dog".."dog" with the greatest look of excitement.

Tonight when we went for a walk we saw bunnies, and in this picture you were calling the bunnies, and waiting for them to come out. You say what is very close to "Where are you"? It is adorable! You even tried to say bunnies, but it sounded more like "ba ba". You continue to be so expressive and happy go lucky. Your latest thing is to say "hi" to anyone and everyone who passes by. I love this stage, and again I want to freeze time!!!!

I love the summary catchup posts. How sweet is the photo of Lissie and Evan and how cute is Calum looking for the bunny.

How cute is Evan with Geoff... All little boys need a daddy they can look up to and aspire to be like. And Calum calling the bunny like a puppy is the cutest thing. Congrats to Evan on the swimming lessons.
