Looks like it might be time to get a lock for that pantry door!! I know you didn't have to worry about that the first time around, but I think Calum is going to be a whole different story!!
Follower of Christ, Wife to Geoff (my soul mate) since September 1999. Mommy to two beautiful miracles Evan (27 week preemie now age 7)and Calum (5 Years), both conceived through IVF+ICSI. Evan is a triplet and was born prematurely because of his brothers TTTS. His brothers Ian and Gavin were identical twins, victims of TTTS (Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome), and are in heaven. Starting this blog has led me to others who have also been affected by TTTS, and has helped with my healing process. This blog is also my attempt to document these precious moments as my kids are growing up so quickly. There is nothing more challenging or rewarding than being a Mommy...and there is nothing I would rather do! My boys are growing up so quickly and I am doing my best to not only capture the moments, but to live in them! I am truly blessed beyond measure!
Fetal distress and syndromes affect 800,000 pregnancies per year in the U.S. alone. That is four times the amount of cases per year of breast cancer. Twice as many babies die from TTTS and other fetal syndromes than from SIDS each year, yet most people are only aware of SIDS. The Fetal Hope Foundation's mission is to arm families and health care providers with information needed to save these babies lives.
I love family, friends, iced mochas, frozen yogurt, hiking, massages, the mountains, snow, laughing so hard it hurts, bubble baths, giving gifts, snowboarding (hopefully again someday), champagne, chocolate dipped soft serve ice cream cones, reality tv, chocolate covered strawberries, finding a good deal, canoeing on a quiet lake, the beach, shoe shopping, designer jeans, chic flicks, walking through the forest, people with passion, surprises, quotes, worship music, meeting new people, horse back riding, love stories, summer nights, flip flops, mexican food, hearing my boys belly laugh, painted toe nails, sleep, sunsets, dancing with my kids, the ocean, gerber daisies, Calum's strawberry breath, snorkeling, babies, snuggles, traveling to new places, sand between my toes, B & B's, a good book, afternoon naps, feeling loved and valued, ferry rides, new lipstick, pajama pants, funnel cake, sterling roses, stupid jokes, new socks, nature, watching my kids grow up, Burlington Vermont, porch swings, and the colors of leaves in the fall:)
