Evan is having such grown up conversations, and formulating his own opinions. He is staying with Grandma this week, and my house is way too quiet without him. Grandma called this morning to say that he told her today that he is getting older, and that his birthday is coming, and that soon he will be turning four. He followed that up with
"Yes, and then I will be an old fart".
My mom then turns to her husband who says, "I had nothing to do with this."
Hmmm my question is then who is to blame.?
We don't even say the word "fart" in this house, we say "toot". Ha.ha..probably his cousins:).
Isn't it funny when your kids come up with something, and you have no idea where it came from?
I miss him so much, and will get to see him tonight. Even though it's hard to be without him I know he is having a great time, and making wonderful memories with Grandma and Papa. This week he went to a wildlife safari, stayed in a hotel where he actually got to sleep in the caboose of an old train car, and went to the beach. He also got to see his Great Grandpa.

ha ha family! Gotta love em'! They are always good for cheap entertainment ;)
So funny! We have a no using the fart word in our home, so when my kids say that word it's like huh? Where did you even get that? We call them furps.
He learned it the whole "FART" thing from your brother...lol
That's hysterical! If he's an old fart at almost 4, what does that make us?
That is too funny! When it's not your child right?
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
