We love you, and are thankful for your presence in our lives. Today we are reminded of the blessing and miracle that you are. It's so hard to believe that you were born weighing only 1 pound 15 ounces, and now you are such a big boy. You have already endured so much, and have little tiny white scars all over your hands and feet to remind us. We know God has big plans for you. You are growing up so fast, and we feel blessed to be your parents!

Happy Birthday to your miracle. It was amazing to me when I realized that you and I both had babies in the NICU at the same time four years ago. My girls turn four tomorrow. 2004 was a great year for miracles!

I jsut had to comment on this post. My 15 month old was a 9 week preemie...wasn't as small as your Evan (3lbs 6oz at her smallest). Wow, that photo is just so touching. Reminds me of how beyond blessed I am and thankful to the Lord for my little one. So glad to see your little one is doing so well!!!
