Fall Parties

Saturday we went to cousin Jessica's 8th birthday party/costume party. The kids had a blast! Evan loves his cousin Jessica so much, and always has the best time when they are together. Evan won first place in the costume contest as a police officer. He picked out the costume himself, and has been wearing it a lot this past week. He is having fun learning about what a police officer does, and giving people pretend tickets for breaking the law.

Where else but California can you have a water slide at your birthday party in October? We have had some awesome fall weather.

On Sunday we went to a Halloween party, and did trial trick or treating around the neighborhood. It was so fun to watch the boys get so into it. We ate, played games, went on a hay ride, another pinata, and ate lots of candy...again!!!

This was taken after Calum had gone to his first couple of houses for trick or treating, politely said "bank oo"/thank you, and then plopped himself down in the street to check out his treats. I of course had to start opening the chocolate that very second.
